Location: Madonna Inn San Luis Obispo Marathon festival area, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401​

Air Travel: There are several airports that serve San Luis Obispo. Both San Luis Obispo (SBP) or Santa Maria (SMX), 20 miles / minutes south. Please consider purchasing travel insurance.

Rental Cars: Most major rental cars are available at SBP and SMX. Search travel websites such as Kayak or Priceline. Other ground transportation option information can be found on the Port of Seattle website.

Parking: Free parking is available at our meeting location: Gymnazo, 720 Aerovista Park #C, San Luis Obispo Ca. 93401 and we are located in a large warehouse towards the back.

Textbook: Anatomy for Runners by Jay Dicharry, is required pre-reading, available from Amazon and iTunes.

Respecting our Earth: Since we strive to be “green,” we do not provide printed copies of presentation materials but will provide a Dropbox link to course materials, videos, and slides approximately one week prior to the course. If you like to take written notes, please bring a notebook. You are welcome to bring laptops and tablets to access the Dropbox materials during the course. Also, please bring a refillable water bottle.

Attire: Please wear clothing that will allow for athletic movements, e.g. running, walking, drills.

Food: Some meals will be provided, along with drinks and snacks throughout the day. We do our best to accommodate gluten-free, vegetarian, low carbohydrate and other nutrition preferences.

Lodging: Hotel accommodations in San Luis Obispo are located near both the meeting location and the San Luis Obispo Marathon & Half location. Here are several options depending on your taste and budget. Airbnb and VRBO list many options as well.

Restaurants and Bars: San Luis Obispo is a foodie and wine town. There is plenty of great options in the downtown, but below are a few that are close to the meeting location, Gymnazo.

Shopping: 
Both downtown on Higuear Street as well as at Madonna Center and on Los Osos Valley Road there are several areas to shop. For groceries there is Vons on South Broad near our meeting location, Albertsons on Madonna Road as well as Whole Foods natural market at 1531 Froom Ranch Way, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405. Full Listing Here

Local Running Trails: Slo Town is blessed with a variety of hiking and running trails. The not to miss views & off road experiences are Madonna Mountain right at the base of the Slo Marathon & Half finish line, Bishops Peak and Irish Hills Nature Preserve. If you prefer the track you can visit Cal Poly University. For a paved bike trail to the beach go to the Bob Jones City To Sea Trail in Avila Beach just 5 minutes south off 101. Full Listing Here
